Greg Bartlett, Pastor of Discipleship and Church Health
Greg grew up in Rushville, IL. After visiting his sister at a Bible college, Greg repented of sin and trusted Christ for salvation. He was subsequently baptized. He met and married his wife Ruth at the same Bible college.
Pastor Greg and his family moved to Galesburg, IL to oversee the work at Bethany Baptist in 2021. In June of 2023, he led Bethany Baptist to join with Harmony Baptist. Greg desires to make true disciples of Jesus Christ and to equip others to do the same (Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 4:11).
When he’s not serving in the ministry, you’ll find Greg spending time with his wife or enjoying his six kids. Greg holds a B.A in Bible, M.A. in Bible, and a Master of Divinity degree and is pursuing a certificate in church consulting from the Society of Church Consulting.
Greg planted Northlight Baptist Church in Athabasca, AB, Canada in 2012. He served as pastor there until 2020. He originally moved to Alberta in 2010 to help start Foundation Baptist College, in Edmonton AB. He continued to teach at the college throughout his time in Alberta.
Greg desires to make disciple making disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
